Just a fun fact about my blog:

For those of you who weren't around at the beginning of this blog (5 months on Sunday!)
if you looked back through some of my posts,
you might notice that
I am very repetitive.

As in,
sometimes I look back at an old post and just copy and paste, then change it so it applies to whatever my story for the day is.

oh gosh i

just watched Michael's last episode on The Office that aired yesterday on NBC.com
At 6:05 PM in case I ever wondered

and I started
crying
really hard
I still am
and like not as in

and oh my goodness i just watched
the last like 30 seconds they have after the last commercial
that noone bothers to watch really
and it was the Goodbye Michael Scott party
and everyone was just standing around
And Jim was the only one who knew that Michael left the day before and told everyone else that he had one more day

and I hate these Portal video game commercials

but yeah like not as in the "OMG IM CRYING NOW" comments that people are always making
but maybe they are crying
but like
since everyone says that
i do too sometimes
but not like a few tears
i'm a mess
and i would be embarrassed if anyone walked in on me

LOL and at the airport Michael was like
"I'm glad to finally get this off my chest"
and he takes out one of those small microphone  things from inside his jacket
and I guess I should've put two and two together
but i never understood how you could hear everything they were saying from far away.

And at the very end
it's like she almost starts to go follow him
but she stops
and just watches him leave.

ITSTH THO THAD

yeah this took a really long time to write; i started as soon as I finished watching
but my parents came home from Daiso and made me bring the new bathroom mats upstairs
And I took the blue one and gave my brother the baby-pink one.

Man, when he comes home from college he is going to be SOO CONFUSEEEED.
heh

oh and gross image of the day

Chinese food is the slimiest, dirties, greasiest food of all.
Everything is always gooey; whether it be from the excess soy sauce, or its natural oil.
Just drowned in its juices.

So imagine, after finishing your meal at a Chinese Yam Cha restaurant,
licking that plate dry.

0

On Saturday, because my relatives were visiting, we went to go eat some Yam Cha. Side story: Whenever we go out to eat, my mom likes to ask for lemons to put in the glasses of water. (end) But since it was a Chinese restaurant, I was the only one drinking iced water because all of the Adults drink tea. So in like the middle of the meal, I find a lemon in my water and I just keep sipping it because I think my mom did it for me. And near the end, right before I'm taking another sip, my mom grabs it out of my hand and screams, "DON'T DRINK THAT THE LEMON IS DIRTY." So everyone around the table starts freaking out until she says, "No, it's okay. I saved her before she drank any." and they die down to a murmur about how close that was and wow this was a really long title post.

Okay, first off, Mom, why did you put tainted fruit in my water?

And second,
What happened to the lemon ?

Okay my Canadian relatives came to visit so we all headed over to Gilroy Outlet for what may very well have been the worst day of my life.

Anyway, there were these three senior-junior (?) Asian guys. When they saw me, they yelled,
"ohhhhh. A cousin!" And then they all started yelling over each other and saying a bunch of stuff to me in Japanese.

They were tourists.
Except they were from oregon. LOL

Unfortunately, we just happened to pass them a lot around the outlet, and everytime, I heard them yell "KONICHIWA" behind me.

sorry.
uninteresting post.

Oh and I would just like to mention that my Junethea-dedicated post got over 4,600 hits.
I find it reassuring that there are so many people out there to keep her memory alive.
So rest in peace, Junethea Centeno.

And rest in peace Connie Liu.
Even though you weren't as well known,
And I hadn't even known that I was following you when I saw your name,
I hope you're having a blast up there.

You were my age and you died in your sleep.
Your best friend talks about you every day. It's heartbreaking to see the witty and clever girl I knew to be so hurt. Lots of people miss you. They all love you very much.
And it's almost eerie what your last Tumblr post was.
And I even remember reblogging one of your last posts just a day before you left.
It was all very sudden.

Rest in Peace Connie.

Dinner at Sweet Tomatoes

First off, I understand that I got the whole concept mixed up. I'm not good at superstitions.

So we were eating at Sweet Tomatoes when my mom spills the pepper. I say, "I think that's supposed to be bad luck."

Mom: Bad luck?
Me: Yeah. I think.
Mom: Then what am I supposed to do?
Me: Um. Throw some over your shoulder.

So she takes her napkin (i don't know why) and throws it over her shoulder and to the next table where there are other people sitting.

And I say "MOM." and she turns around and tries to reach over and get her napkin back and they're all kind of shocked and just staring and then she has to get up because her arm isn't long enough to get her napkin back. But in the end, it's only SALT that's unlucky. Pepper's just a spice. So Mother's safe.

-
Ah, Sweet Tomatoes.
Brings back lots of memories.

I used to think it was hilarious to leave the card on "I'll Be Ripe Back" instead of "See You Next Thyme" even though I was leaving.
-
Growing up, I was the Picky Eater of my family. So often times, whether I wanted to or not, I had to choose where we were going whenever we went out to eat.

And being the "cultural-cuisine enthusiast" that I am, I would always choose Sweet Tomatoes.
(it was the only place I knew)
So, yea, we went there many times.

But with my brother's growing-up-and-going-to-college and the rest of us just getting busy, it had been maybe even a year since the last time we went.

So when Mom and Dad asked me where we should go, I just felt the old tug inside me and said Sweet Tomatoes.

Now I had a lot of Memorable Moments there. Kind of like when you're tracking your growth on the wall. The first time I finished my first plate, the first time I covered my plate at the salad bar.

So this time, at the beginning, I got more than my mom. Maybe even as much as my dad. And I finished it all! Not sure if that's anything to be too proud of, considering that my little-girl metabolism is gone and I am basically on the verge of a food coma but
here are some pictures I took in line

And to those of you that have outgrown Sweet Tomatoes which by the way I never will,
They have a new Frozen Yogurt machine.

In fact, now it's the Sundae Maker.
With flavors DREYER'S Vanilla, DREYER'S Dark Chocolate, and DREYER'S Swirl.

This was my frozen yogurt.

Unfortunately, their Condiments Counter is completely downgraded. There's about four choices you can ponder on only now. And somebody finished my Chocolate Chip Clusters. So I took the Cardboard-flavoured Granola.

Well, I had a satisfactory meal nevertheless. Very rich in terms of sentimental value.

And at the end, I left this.

Man, that waiter is going to be soooo confuseeeeed. :D
hehe...

R.I.P Junethea

I had absolutely no idea who you were until today. I logged on today to find my dashboard filled with posts dedicated to you, and I didn't know what was going on. Nobody was saying what had happened, just grieving.

Basically:
Junethea Centeno was killed early this morning in a solo car accident. She was only 18.

I know that it really doesn't make much difference about my posting in remembrance of you. Because I really didn't know you. I never did. I would love to, but my point is, there are so many people out there who are doing exactly what I am right now. We should stop acting like we all knew her. It's disrespectful to those who actually did.

But when I visited your Tumblr… it was weird. Your posts had no indication that you weren't coming back. Everything was so recent.  You kept people updated on your every-day life through your blog, and the last post. I don't know. It doesn't feel like a last post. But it is.

And I read through a few more pages and I
Just fell in love with you.

You were so optimistic and fun and pure and
None of that typical 18-year-old blogger types
I dunno. Maybe. Either way, you were an inspiration to so many people and you were just fun to be with.

And your relationship with Jon. You two were just about to reach your 1 year anniversary. You posted a lot about it. Even a picture of a bag with *coughjonbuymethiscough* under it. (:

And how he proposed to you on the big screen at a Lakers game (you didn't like them, but he did, so you bought the tickets for him)

There was a post about how Jon was one of the first to arrive at the scene. Since then, he has disappeared. Nobody knows where he is. (pray that he comes back)

And then how your dad is in the Navy, on a ship that's going to Japan. How he might not have even been informed of your death.

I would have loved to meet you. So many of us. It's hard to understand how things can just end so fast. Just imagining what was going through your mind right before your car hit that concrete column. If you were even conscious.

We all already miss you. We love you. Even if not all of us know you. But we're going to keep your memory alive.

R.I.P. Junethea

Dear Lesley

Happy 14th birthday! (:

My plan was to give you a nice gift at school, and write you a nifty post at home! But it wasn't until the actual writing part did I realize that everything I had to say was in your card.

hm
):

So in order for compensation,

Sorry if it's too bad.
It's a weekday and I am Doing Homework so I couldn't edit it or play it over to make sure the video was Youtube-presentable.
And remember, I am a certified CM Level Repeat-ee!

And anyway, I hope it brings you back memories
Happy birthday Lesley

lol um Crayola made this new weird colored-bubble gun except it stains

The Sunset Orange bubble soap that dripped on the floor of Emily Vanek's garage dried in dark red splotches resembling blood, the Denver mother says. The blue bubbles turned her two boys "into Smurfs."
While most regular bubble soaps don't bother with directions on their labels, the Crayola bottles have a long warning in tiny type that says: "Before use, test on an inconspicuous area and let dry. Wash off to make sure bubble solution does not stain."
The warning continues: "Do not use at weddings or indoors."
There's more: "Keep away from brick, vinyl, finished and unfinished wood, wallpaper, painted walls, carpeting, draperies, and other materials that cannot be laundered."
It takes six sentences of directions to explain how to wash the stuff off (immediately, with hot water, but with no stain treatments; they just make it worse)

Well today was my birthday

and i don't feel like giving a recap
but as it was just the end of the quarter, there wasn't much celebration
but this one person called Robbie Racer from Facebook that I became friends with a couple of years ago through Friends for Sale over our profile pics (dumb me) and was friends with some of my other friends.
Anyways, I added her and she never accepted

UNTIL TODAY!
so i don't know. maybe my friend request has been in her inbox for two years. maybe. idk.

so yeah
We went to the Cheesecake Factory for my birthday dinner
I didn't really get any other tangible gift other than that from my parents
but the three tables that were next to us all had the staff come and sing happy birthday to them and give them a complimentary ice cream shake
and it was sort of like I got it three times because I was in the middle
so yeah

Happy birthday Joani and Krishna BHARATHALALAALALAALALLALALALA
